Contemporary Art Services Tasmania—Colonial Afterlives

The exhibition considers a range of contemporary responses to British colonisation from artists living in Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, Canada and Britain. The exhibition was developed in partnership with Salamanca Arts Centre, Hobart.
Dandenong Ranges Community Cultural Centre—Black Mist Burnt Country

The exhibition commemorates the 60th anniversary of the British atomic tests at Maralinga. It revisits the location and its events through the artworks by Indigenous and non-Indigenous contemporary artists across the mediums of painting, print-making, sculpture, installation, photography and new media.
The exhibition has been developed in consultation with Anangu, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara communities.
Museum of Contemporary Art—Being Tiwi

The exhibition highlights Tiwi traditions and culture through the work of nine contemporary artists from three Indigenous art centres on Bathurst and Melville Islands (Tiwi) Islands.

The exhibition showcases a selection of new and recent work by Adelaide-based contemporary sculptor, Michelle Nikou. The exhibition is the result of a partnership between touring agency NETS Victoria and the Museum of Modern Art at Heide.
National Gallery of Australia—Resolution: Contemporary Indigenous Photography

The exhibition showcases photographic and new media works by nine leading Indigenous artists including Ricky Maynard, Michael Riley and Brenda Croft. The exhibition draws on the Gallery's collections as well as loans from artists.
National Motor Museum—Bush Mechanics: the exhibition

In partnership with Pintubi Anmatjere Warlpiri Media, the National Motor Museum will develop a travelling exhibition based on the television miniseries Bush Mechanics.
The exhibition will focus on the role of the car in Aboriginal life in Central Australia, and will feature original cars and screenings from the series, alongside interactives based on the bush mechanic's toolkit.
South Australian Maritime Museum—Rough Medicine: Life and Death in the Age of Sail

The exhibition explores the history of medicine at sea from the 18th century, highlighting how observations of disease on board contributed to the development of modern medical knowledge and practice.
Western Australian Museum—Lustre: Pearling and Australia

The exhibition adopts an interdisciplinary approach to explore Australia's pearling story drawing together biology, anthropology, maritime, social and environmental history, and Aboriginal, Asian and European perspectives of how the industry transformed the north of Australia. The exhibition was developed in partnership with Nyamba Buru Yawuru (representing the Yawuru Aboriginal people of the West Kimberly).
