Video series highlights harm caused by fake First Nations art

In this video series, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and industry workers share their experiences with fake art and the effect it has on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and their communities.
The short interviews were filmed during the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair in August 2024.
These videos were filmed at the Cairns Convention Centre on Gimuy Walubarra Yidinji and Yirrganydji Country.
Artists interviewed and artworks featured in the video series include: Darren Blackman, Lena de Jersey (Wei'Num Arts), Toby Cedar, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, Florence Gutchen (Erub Arts), Matilda Nona (Maza Collection), Susan Reys (Kgari 3 Sisters), Lauren Rogers, Obery Sambo, Melissa Stannard and Arabella Walker.
