The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (the Department) is collecting personal information for the purpose of monitoring the level of production activity that is planned to be undertaken in Australia, when and where the production activity will occur, the demand for crew/personnel, and the types of facilities and resources the production will access, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

The Department will use your personal information only for the purpose of monitoring screen production activity in Australia and will store this information securely. 

The Department may disclose information to Ausfilm and Screen Australia for the purposes of monitoring all proposed screen production activity in Australia. Ausfilm is an Australian Government/industry partnership that assists screen production companies and individuals looking to come to Australia and partner with Australian film production companies. Screen Australia is the Australian Federal Government’s agency charged with supporting Australian screen development, production and promotion.

The Department’s privacy policy contains information regarding complaint handling processes, how to access and/or seek correction of personal information held by the department and contact details for the Privacy Officer.
