DNEG Sydney’s visual effects and animation studio has committed to creating 470 highly skilled jobs and 550 indirect jobs, providing the opportunity for our highly taleneted VFX and animation workers to support the creation of feature films, television and multiplatform content.

DNEG’s visual effects and animation work has powered some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters, including Mad Max: Fury Road, James Bond, Harry Potter and the Fast and Furious franchise.

DNEG Sydney’s first major project will be leading the VFX work on the latest instalment in the exhilarating Mad Max franchise, Furiosa.

Attracted by the Australian Government’s Post, Digital and Visual Effects (PDV) Offset, the new studio will support the creation of visual effects, animation, virtual production and gaming content, helping our local workforce to leverage DNEG’s global network and relationships, maximising their collaboration and development opportunities.

This will strengthen Australia’s reputation as a global leader in digital and special effects.
