Funding brings exciting arts projects to regional and remote audiences.

Two boys performing on stage. They sit in a boat with a dog sitting next to them. They point away from themselves as if looking for something and one boy holds a binoculars.

Almost $700,000 in funding will be shared amongst 17 projects to be showcased at festivals and community events throughout regional and remote Australia.

The Festivals Australia program aims to grow regional audiences by providing opportunities to experience and participate in arts and cultural events.

The projects selected for funding span live music, theatre, dance, literature, exhibitions and workshops, highlighting the richness and diversity of Australia’s arts sector.

Supporting artists and events across regional Australia helps to ensure there’s a place for every story – a key pillar of Revive, the Government’s new National Cultural Policy.
