The Australia Council has announced the 11 recipients of the Visual Arts & Crafts Strategy (VACS) Major Commissioning Projects.
Eleven artists from across the country will each receive an equal share in the $1.1 million VACS Major Commissioning Projects fund.
Artists will present their works in small, medium and community spaces as well as state and international galleries.
Artists range from early career to well established, each working in a variety of different mediums.
Amongst those presenting on the world stage is First Nations artist, Richard Bell, whose work will be showcased in the TATE Modern's Turbine Hall gallery in London.
Applications were peer assessed by a panel of industry experts with applications assessed on quality, viability, and innovation of the work..
