AGIEI provides funding to offset the cost of insurance for eligible international exhibitions touring to Australia.

Organisations will benefit from new guidelines, which make the program more accessible by lowering the valuation threshold for eligible exhibitions. The aim is to increase audience access to significant cultural material.

Under the new thresholds, eligible exhibitions must include cultural material with a minimum total value of:

  • $25 milion for fine art exhibitions
  • $10 million for museological exhibitions.

Applications close 15 July 2023.

For more information and how to apply visit our AGIEI page or contact us at CollectionsDevelopment@arts.gov.au.
